STILL EQUAL Combating Gendered Ageism and Intersectional Discrimination in European Workplaces

From Idea to Action

From Idea to Action (IDEACT) is a cross-border initiative of three partner organisations based in Germany (Commit gGmbH), Austria (SIA Austria) and Hungary (SocialFokus). The project aims at strengthening democratic participation, youth engagement, and social cohesion across Europe. “From Idea to Action” combines innovative methodologies with hands-on, action-oriented, participatory approaches to empower citizens—especially young people and marginalized groups—to actively shape their communities and contribute to democratic life.

Strengthening Democratic Resilience Across Europe - EUDEM

The project is collaboration among organizations in Hungary, Germany, Italy, Poland and Belgium, dedicated to enhancing democratic values, social cohesion, and citizen engagement within the European Union (EU). The planned activities bring together a diverse range of stakeholders, including citizens, civil society organisations, community leaders, and policymakers. The project employs participatory methods to facilitate open dialogue, foster active citizenship, and promote inclusivity, thereby empowering individuals to actively shape the future of Europe. Additionally, it incorporates capacity building sessions aimed at equipping participants with practical skills for participatory democracy, enabling them to contribute effectively to policy discussions.
